First Airbus A380 Finally Delivered

Anyone who has worked in a complex supply chain knows that coordinating resources can be like herding cats! Although Boeing has had its challenges with delivering its first 787 Dreamliner, Airbus’ first A380 is finally being delivered after almost a 2-year delay.
“Airbus has gone though five CEOs as multiple delays in the A380 program resulted in massive write-offs and a restructuring plan that foresees 10,000 job cuts over four years — not to mention billions of dollars in lost profit.” (TOULOUSE, France (AP))
